Repairs
Wessco Blinds Limited Repair Warranty and Policy
Shades purchased from Wessco Blinds by the original purchaser within 7 years and or 5 years for motorized shades from the date of purchase will be repaired at no charge under the Hunter Douglas Limited Lifetime Warranty. Shades outside of the Hunter Douglas Limited Lifetime warranty, purchased from another dealer, or not the original purchaser will have a fee. Repair costs start at $150 plus tax for manual shades and motorized shades start at $300 plus tax. Email repairs@wesscoblinds.com or call/text (206) 285-5455 to inquire about additional fees. Wessco Blinds cannot repair shades not manufactured by Hunter Douglas and does not offer in-home repair services. Shades over 7 years old will be repaired with like or similar parts or products, shades over 15 years old cannot be repaired.
Covered By Limited Repair Warranty
- Operational cords for a full 1 year from the date of repair
- All internal mechanisms. Operational cords for a full 1 year from the date of repair.
- Shades manufactured by Hunter Douglas less than 10 years old
Not Covered By Limited Repair Warranty
- Shipping charges, labor, cost of removal and reinstallation.
- Abuse or misuse by the homeowner
- Shades older than 10 years
- Shades not manufactured by Hunter Douglas
Wessco Blinds is Unable to provide the following services
- Remove or reinstall shades not originally purchased by Wessco Blinds
- Repair shades not manufactured by Hunter Douglas
- Repair shades older than 15 years
Wessco Blinds Installation Warranty
The installation is guaranteed for 6 MONTHS from the original date of purchase. Child Safety: All blinds & shades have been installed to meet current child safety standards; which includes but is not limited to break away tassels, cord tensioners and cord cleats to adhere to Child Safety Laws.
Covered By 6 Month Installation Warranty
- Installation itself
- Issues with shades (ie repairs, remakes, failures of the product)
Not Covered By 6 Month Warranty
- Abuse or misuse by the homeowner
- Homeowner or any non Wessco Blinds installer taking down the shades voids this warranty
- Shades not manufactured by Hunter Douglas or purchased by Wessco Blinds
- Shades installed by the homeowner have no warranty
- Shades purchased over 6 months
- Any other circumstances beyond our control
- Programing of PowerView or Motorized shades after the initial installation
- Work done after 6 months is subject to charges, this includes service calls
